Indigenous Pastoralist Foundation is an NGOs that has been established and registered since 2020 and it aims to work in all the mainland of Tanzania but specifically has its main office in Malambo Village Loliondo in Ngorongoro District at Seven wards mainly which are; Malambo,Piyaya,Olalaa Engaresero, Ololosokwan, Olpiro, Kakesio, Pinyinyi and Maaloni.
IPF recognize the efforts of the Tanzanian Government and other NGOs in reducing poor living conditions of indigenous pastoralists societies. However the foundation need to join their efforts with local and international partners in developing creative and innovative solutions and building strong community links thereby playing catalyst roles in proving various methods to improve life of pastoralist societies. One of the means of this Foundation to meet this need is in enhancing cross-cultural communication and international exchange of know how. It is from this background that Indigenous pastoralist foundation is formed to contribute in improving pastoralist livelihood status in Tanzanian main land. It is established to support especially social, economic, political rangeland conservation and democratic development.
